Communities team within Public Health for the district; providing a wide range of services, including working
collaboratively to develop healthy public policy around smoking and breastfeeding; creating public
awareness around population-level health issues; conducting health research on a variety of topics, including
housing adequacy and nutrition and urban food security; delivering community education and targeted
group health education, and being involved in community advocacy initiatives. This is a temporary position,
designed to cover the duties of the usual incumbent.
