 - Successfully completed the Probationary Period and 1.5
years of Supply Teaching, until resigning and relocating to
Oshawa, Ontario at the end of 2013.
2012: Occasional Teacher (Replacement List)-London District Catholic
School Board
 - Successfully completed a short-term contract. Due to low
enrolment, the Board was not able to call back recently
hired OTs.
2011-2012: Student Development Centre-General, Proctor (Part-
Time): University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario
 Supported the summative assessments of Special Needs
students, mostly experiencing psychological difficulties.
 Facilitated the supportive environment required by each
individual student, to be able to be successful with their
studies.
 Responsible for the set-up, administration, supervision,
uploading/saving/final delivery of exams.

2011: Registrar¡¯s Office-Information, Administrative Assistant (Full-Time
Contract): University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario

 - Chosen to support this department for just over two weeks
during the very busy September period. Programmed
photo identification cards/distributed U.H.I.P. cards and in
less busy times, helped with preparing documents for
scanning.
2010: Student Teacher: London District Catholic School Board, St.
George Catholic School, London, Ontario (Grade Five and
Grade One; 14 weeks+)
 - Upon completion of my Pre-Teaching Placement (70
hours) in Grade 1, I was invited to complete Placement 1
in Grade 1 (7 weeks) and then I was invited to complete
Placement 2 in Grade 5 (7 weeks). I had the honour of
completing all of my teaching experience at St. George
Catholic School.
 -Taught the Ontario Curriculum on a daily basis with a high
degree of effectiveness.
 - Implemented Differentiated Instruction, using modifications
and scaffolding as necessary, to ensure that all students
were given the opportunity to learn at their highest
potential.
 - Fostered a nurturing, supportive environment for all
students.
 - Established rapport with staff, students, parents,
and community.
 - Received continuous positive feedback about being a
competent, valued, ¡°natural¡± teacher.
 - Launched and completed the 2010 United Way Campaign
at St. George Catholic School.
 - Supported staff and students with behavioural intervention
strategies for a particularly difficult student.
 - Participated in Staff Meetings, an I.P.R.C. Meeting, a
Team Meeting, and a Primary Division Meeting.
 - Attended the LDCSB Frames4 computer workshop by
Elaine Ernewein and an LDCSB Writing Buddies workshop
by Shelley MacKenzie.
2001-2009: Educational Assistant, Permanent/Full-Time: Thames
Valley District School Board, London, Ontario
2006-2009 Developmental Classroom E.A. (Woodland Heights Public
School, Primary) :
- Delivered whole lessons and individual student programs
to meet the needs of exceptional students. Worked in a
team environment, with a Classroom Teacher and another
- Educational Assistant. Diagnoses included: Bipolar
Disorder, Down¡¯s Syndrome, Epilepsy, and Autism.
2004-2006 Resource E.A. (Woodland Heights Public School, Grades
4 to 8, including one student with Bipolar Disorder):
- Assisted students with their school work both in the
classroom and in the Resource Room, especially those
students experiencing learning problems. Administered
medications when required. Attended Understanding
- Depression and Anxiety Disorders and Building Inclusive
Classrooms workshops.
2002-2004: STEPS For Success Itinerant Behaviour Resource Team
E.A. (7 schools each week, mostly in East London, SK to
Grade 8):
- Worked 1:1 and as a facilitator in small groups with
students who were experiencing learning difficulties, due
to emotional, behavioural, and/or social
problems.
- Efforts were geared to early intervention and prevention
for these students, with emphasis on social skills. In this
position, I planned and implemented behaviour strategies
for students with various needs. I also liaised with STEPS
Intensive Support staff, students, parents, schools, and
community agencies. Furthermore, I completed necessary
documentation and participated in regular Team Meetings.
